She keeps up with the styles. She loves designer cuts at reasonable prices.

2. Why do you like to shop with your mom?

I like to shop with my mom because if she loves it on me, she buys it! She makes me try on things I wouldn’t normally.

3. What do you like about shopping at THREAD?

The girls there make me feel good about what I wear but don’t hesitate to tell me what doesn’t work. I also like that I don’t see others wearing what I buy.

It is classy and tasteful…not faddish.

2) Why do like to shop with daughter?

My daughters let me know their opinion and what makes me look too old. Both daughters try to keep me dressing young but age appropriate:)

3) What do you like about shopping at THREAD?

The women who work there! I am not great at completing an outfit and updating with trends. They listen to my needs and dress me accordingly. THREAD carries a range of vendors/merchandise so I am able to spend more on a special item but also able to duplicate a style with a less expensive one. I also LOVE their jewelry!!! Unlike any other in town!!

One thing I like about my mom’s style is her ability to rework pieces from her wardrobe and always look fabulous.

I love shopping with my mom because she’s my best friend, has incredible taste and picks up the bill!

I love shopping at THREAD because I know I am always going to find something special and I love hanging out with all of the girls working!

Their ability to put looks together and express themselves through fashion. And, they just have fun with it!

Well, we just have so much fun shopping together! We don’t take it too serious, and spending that extra time together is an extra bonus!

1. One thing I like about my mom’s style is_______________

There are many things I like about my mom’s style. One thing I like about her style is that she is always up-to-date on fashion trends. She has fun mixing and matching and isn’t afraid to wear statement pieces. Plus, her shoe collection is pretty amazing…too bad I’m not a size 7!

2. Why do you like to shop with your mom?

I like to shop with my mom because she is honest and makes good suggestions. She can convince me to try on certain pieces that I normally wouldn’t and I end up liking what she suggests.

3. What do you like about shopping at THREAD?

Shopping at THREAD is like having your own personal stylist at home. The THREAD ladies always welcome you with a big, “Hello!” and they are happy to help you. They are patient with me and listen to what I want. I also like the fact that they are honest when something doesn’t look good on me.

Megan’s Answers:

1. One thing I like about my mom’s style is_______________

My mom is ADORABLE. She is cute, lively, happy and bubbly. I love that her clothes compliment her personality. She wears pops of fun vibrant colors and is amazing at accessorizing it all. She’s got these amazing skinny legs that I would kill for and she can wear the coolest pants that showcase them or a shorter length dress that showcase her sweet skinny stems. My mom does a great job with fabrics and knows what works well on her. She always looks perfectly polished and absolutely amazing.

2. Why do like to shop with your mom?

I love shopping with my mom because she is completely honest. I might put something on and she can’t hide her distaste: “No. It completely washes you out” or her admiration “Stunning!” I love that. It’s always fun to shop with someone you know and love so much because they know and love you completely. My mom knows what fits my personality and lifestyle. We appreciate the same detail in a shoe or fabric and it’s fun to oooh and aaah at the fashion together.

3. What do you like about shopping at THREAD?

I love me some THREAD for many reasons… I love the wide range of labels they carry- the ones that I have never heard of before or who aren’t on my general online, go-to shopping websites. I love all of the intricate details of the boutique from the driftwood ball hanging pendants to the rolling barn door to the vintage display cases and bird wiring and all of the fun details that make it feel home like to me. I also love how welcoming everyone is when I come in. I remember the first time I came in and met owners, Miranda and Sara- they were so happy and welcoming and genuine. So very genuine. I never felt pressured to buy anything and I loved the knowledge they had of the different labels they carried. I love fashion and it’s always so fun for me to hear the stories behind some of the designers and pieces.

Chris’s Answers:

1. One thing I like about my daughter’s style is_______________.

All three of my daughters are unique and have their own tastes so I pull ideas from each of them and only hope I don’t look like a grandma who tries to look like too young. Megan is funky, Brooke is conventional and Sarah is a blend.

2. Why do like to shop with your daughters?

They will always give me their honest opinion. They can usually talk me into buying an item or talk me out of buying something. They tend to be the voice of reason especially when I am relying on retail therapy. I know they like something when they offer to “share” (I buy, they wear) it with me.

3. What do you like about shopping at THREAD?

THREAD is fun because it has something for all of us. The staff makes you feel welcome. They get to know you and learn “your style.”

My Mom always looks very put together and trendy. She is always up to date on the latest fashions and styles.

My Mom and I have similar tastes so she is helpful picking things out that I may like. I also appreciate that she is honest and tells me if something looks good or not. We have fun together, so shopping is enjoyable with her.

3) What do you like about shopping at THREAD.

I love that I can find fun, fashion forward items that are unique and that you will not see on everyone else. I also like shopping there because the girls that work there are very helpful, friendly and personable. They are very honest with me and will tell me if things do not fit right, etc. which I appreciate because they would rather please their client than make a sale.

Marybeth’s Answers:

She has always been classy and traditional in the way she dresses, while still looking stylish.

2) Why do you like to shop with your Daughter?

We have a lot of fun together and have shopped with each other for many, many years. I always can count on Katie being truthful with me about how things look.

I like the uniqueness of it and the fact that you don’t see what you buy all over town. Not only do they have great clothing, they have a nice assortment of accessories as well. An added bonus is how nice everyone is that works there.

1. Why THREAD?

I love shopping at Thread because everything in the boutique feels like a special, unique “find” that I wouldn’t see anywhere else – truly, a “carefully curated” boutique. I love that Sara and Miranda go to such great lengths to bring in lines unique to Columbus, or in some cases even Ohio, as well as some amazing local designers.

2. How would you describe your style?

Classic, feminine, comfy chic.

3. Shopping makes me feel _______________.

Energized and excited. Anyone that knows me knows how much I love to shop!

4. What fashion find could you not live without?

Right now, I would say my Current Elliott boyfriend jeans are pretty indispensable. Although I have to say Pluma jewelry has been probably my favorite discovery since shopping at Thread. I think Treffry’s work is stunningly beautiful and I can throw on her pieces with just about anything.

5. What was your favorite part of the blog fashion shoot?

Without question, dressing up in all the fun clothes! It was like playing in the best closet ever!
